These terms cover your use of this website and the salon services provided by Hope at Vetiver. By booking an appointment — by text or through our online booking page — or by using this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t book or use the site.

Booking by text

We’re a text-based salon: appointments are booked, confirmed, and managed over text message at (760) 766-2140. By texting us or booking online, you consent to receive appointment-related text messages (confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions) at the number you provide. Consent to these messages isn’t a condition of purchasing anything, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP — though without texting we may not be able to manage your booking.

Appointments

Please arrive on time; arriving late may shorten your service or require rebooking. An appointment is between you and the salon and can’t be transferred to someone else without checking with us first. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to book on their behalf.

Cancellations & no-shows

Just text us as early as you can, and at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged part or all of the service price, since that time is held just for you.

Pricing & payment

Prices and durations on the service menu are our standard rates and may change; the final price can vary with hair length, thickness, and the work involved — we’ll tell you before we start. Payment is due at the time of service.

Your health & comfort

Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities, or scalp or skin conditions before a color or chemical service; a patch test may be recommended. If anything makes you uncomfortable during a service, say so and we’ll stop or adjust. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to anyone behaving abusively or unsafely.

Liability

The site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here with its date. Continuing to book or use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
